20 weeks - HALFWAY!!!!

I can't believe I am already 20 weeks!

It seemed like the first 12 to 14 weeks were so slow. I was very nervous and lived life day-by-day. Plus I was sick during that time, so that also make everyday drag by. Once I passed the first trimester mark, and got a little more comfortable with the pregnancy, it seems like time has been flying. Now, I need to start focusing on getting ready to bring home a little boy in May. Wow, what a crazy feeling! I get a little overwhelmed when I think about what the REALLY means for me, Dom, and our life; but for now, we need to starting thinking about getting our house ready and creating a registry.

I have been continuing to feel really good. I get an occasional headache and backache, but nothing too painful. I have a hard time staying up too late, but I sleep well, so I usually wake up rested. My belly is getting bigger by the day and I am feeling him move around more and more everyday. Dom have even been able to feel him a few times! I am excited for him to move around more frequently so Dom can feel him more often. We tend to have a lot of false alarms. I feel him move, Dom will put his hand on my belly, but the baby doesn't move anymore!

I go back to work on Monday. I have had a wonderful break, but I am not ready to go back! The students don't come back until Tuesday, so I have a day to ease back into reality! I am going to tell my students I am pregnant next week. I have told one student, but none of the others know. I think I am going to play a game of hangman with them to break the news. Let's hope I don't get any curious students that ask how babies are made!
